The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask | Review
I’ve been using this cult face mask for 5 months now and I’ve only just got round to reviewing it since I need to take my time with skincare items.
What is The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask?
The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask is described as:
This invigorating charcoal face mask draws out impurities and refines the appearance of pores for healthy-looking skin with a glow that shows. Complete your facial at home expert by applying this purifying blend with our Facial Mask Brush
WHAT DOES IT DO?
The mask claims to pull out all the impurities from your face to leave you fresh and glowing.
It also says that it leaves you with a tingling sensation which I can totally confirm.
Don’t quote me on this, but in beauty blogger circles it’s pretty much known as a Dupe for the Glamglow Youthmud mask which retails at £42 and is heralded as a facelift in a jar.
HOW MUCH IS IT?
The Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask retails for £17.00.
WOULD I RECOMMEND IT?
I really enjoy using this mask even though it really tingles after a few minutes, but that’s when I know it’s working.
I put it on with the Facial Mask Brush which at first seemed a bit excessive, but is actually not only more hygienic because you’re not dipping your fingers in, it makes the product last longer as you use less of it.
If this mask is still unaffordable, one of my lovely readers gave us a wonderful DIY recipe which is slightly cheaper!
