I’ve been using Eskay Apothecary products since August 2018 and nearly a year on, here’s what I think of the products I’ve tried so far.
Rose Hibiscus Facial Mist
The Eskay Apothecary Rose Hibiscus Facial Mist is a multi-talented product, not only is it a cooling facial mist, it’s a toner, a makeup setting spray, after-shave treatment and a makeup remover!
Rose water is a natural anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory to soothe irritated tired skin and get your skin back to feeling fresh.
In the summer it’s a refreshing facial mist and in the winter, it gives much-needed hydration back to dry skin after being inflicted with chilly air and central heating.
Regenerating Eye Serum
Eskay Apothecary Regenerating Eye Serum has made my under eyes fresher and more hydrated.
With consistent use, I’ve noticed an improvement with the pigmentation under my eyes which is a combination of genetics, not drinking enough water and lack of sleep.
You only need the tiniest amount and it packs a punch to hydrate under your eyes and I put it on over my lids too as they get super dry and scaly.
It’s pricy for an eye moisturiser but being a serum that’s packed with rosehip seed oil, carrot seed and coffee bean this will tighten, brighten and bring your eyes back to something resembling human whilst working tirelessly to hydrate you as you sleep or get on with your day.
It’s also great to help with fine lines, dark circles and pigmentation.
Eskay Apothecary Balance Oil
Eskay Apothecary Balance Facial Oil was recommended to me by Aamena the owner of Eskay Apothecary when I reached out to her as my skin was becoming really tight and dry, and I needed some extra hydration.
After a quick chat and consultation, she recommended the Balance Oil for my combination/Oily skin to help me out.
When I use this consistently, it definitely balances my skin and provides that extra moisture I need.
Eskay Apothecary Ayurveda Hair Oil
The Eskay Apothecary Ayurveda Hair Oil is the only product that was gifted to me for review.
Aamena saw that I suffer from Fatigue after my Stroke as I had been talking about my legs aching a lot on my Instagram story, so she very kindly sent it to me to try out.
Yes, it’s a hair oil but it’s also a great massage oil too!
I’ve actually been using this as a hair oil recently and I noticed an improvement in my hair growth Alhamdulillah so will definitely be purchasing once this runs out.
It smells very earthy, and no it doesn’t make your leg hairs grow back thicker (I was worried about this too!).
Eskay Apothecary Matcha and Seaweed Mask
The Eskay Apothecary Matcha & Seaweed Cleansing Mask was bought when my skin was going through a really hard time, I was constantly spotty and stressed and my skin was breaking out badly.
Aamena came to the rescue and suggested I buy the Matcha and Seaweed Cleansing Mask to help purify my skin.
It’s incredibly strong, and comes in a dry powder form, you need to mix water with it to make it into a paste.
After 10 minutes with this mask on, it makes my skin really itchy as it uses pure Bentonite Clay which is much stronger in its natural form than in the watered down versions of other face masks.
I’d use it if your skin is really suffering and needs to purge.
Would I recommend Eskay Apothecary?
The products are all hand made, natural, organic and cruelty free.
I love that it’s run by a woman who is so passionate about skincare and really cares about her customers, and my whole ethos is to support small businesses as you can tell.
I’d highly recommend Eskay Apothecary!
