Hey! I’m Jess from JessRigg.com and today I’m going to be chatting about my 5 top travel beauty essentials!
Just as a note, all these products are cruelty free!
1. Lip Balm
I hate chapped lips, especially when on holiday!
I’m a bit of a lip balm nerd and I own so many different ones.
I generally use Glossier’s balm dot com as I have a few different types and I find that it’s really good at locking the moisture in.
I also have an SPF30 chapstick for the warmer months. See below for reasons why you need to add SPF into your skincare!
Cleansing helps to remove make-up, impurities, dead skin cells, and excess oil.
After long days of walking around and exploring, I find cleaning my face is always the best feeling.
I use Glossier’s jelly cleanser which has a great texture and always leaves my face feeling fresh and clean.
I also love that you can buy a mini-version which is handy for travelling with hand luggage.
3. SPF Moisturiser
You should be wearing SPF on your face every day anyway, but if you’re travelling to somewhere warm it’s extra important!
SPF helps to prevent sun damage meaning that it lowers your risk of skin cancer and helps your skin stay younger for longer.
In the winter, I wear Simple’s SPF15 moisturiser but in spring, summer and autumn. I prefer to wear SPF 30 or 50.
A truly essential product, especially after a few hours of travelling to hide those under-eye circles and flying-induced acne!
I generally go for a more natural look as I’m not very good at applying makeup so Glossier’s light/medium-coverage concealer is great for me.
I use the shade medium and I find that it is great for covering redness.
5. Argan Oil
To make sure you have good hair day for every day of your holiday!
You can also use it on your face, but I prefer it in my hair.
The benefits include shiny and bouncy hair, and it helps keep my curls defined.
I hope you found this post useful!
